Volunteer Opportunity – Mill River Revetment
The Nutmeg Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Aspetuck Land Trust have joined forces to anchor the trees in the Mill River.

Help us restore the banks of the Mill River and improve the fish habitat with repurposed Christmas Trees. We will anchor trees in the river to collect sediment and provide habitat for juvenile trout.

When: Saturday September 21st at 9:30

Where: Park on Riverside Lane in Easton by the middle bridge along Park Avenue, north of the Merritt

Wear waders or shorts and water shoes, we will be in the river.
